New MicroHangars, GearBoxes & CardDividers!

March 27, 2019 By SirWillibald 12 Comments

Hi,

X-Wing_MicroHangars_2.0

The next bunch of X-wing 2.0 stuff …

haven’t been idle lately, finished the next batch of MicroHangars and GearBoxes, as well as some simple CardDividers for the vast amount of cards in X-Wing. All files have been updated with the new content, you’ll find additional stuff for:

  • SWZ12 (T-65 X-wing)
  • SWZ13 (BTL-A4 Y-wing)
  • SWZ14 (TIE/ln Fighter)
  • SWZ15 (TIE Advanced x1)
  • SWZ16 (Slave I)
  • SWZ17 (Fang Fighter)
  • SWZ23 (Mining Guild Tie)

Yes, the conversion kits are still missing, undecided how to do the GearBoxes (with space for bases or without).
The remaining Resistance and First Order ships are next on my list and the let’s hope I don’t have to wait too long for my wave 3 stuff.

Happy crafting,
SirWilli

I thoroughly enjoy your products and am excited for all of the new ones. I would like to throw my vote in on the Conversion kit boxes. I would like it if you left room in the box for the base. Currently I have a Gearbox for each Dial in the conversion kits (I used the tuckbox generator) and I keep everything for each ship in the Gearbox. Anyways, just my thoughts…

Wanted to try this approach, as well. One base per dial along with some(?) ship tokens.

How do you print out the card dividers? I have the file with all of the jpg but I’m unsure about how to print multiple cards per page, and what size they need to be, specifically for the portrait dividers.

    Thanks!

I found the best way to print the card dividers is to import the jpg’s into word and set margins to something like 0.5″ all around. This allowed me to print six dividers per page. Then it was just a matter of using a paper trimmer to cut them out.

        Exactly. This is the trick.

Why isn’t it possible to copy/paste into word so I cvan put multiple gearboxes on one page?

    Tanks in advance.

This shouldn’t be problem at all, at least if you do it on your own. For me it would mean a huge(!) amount of additional work, since all the boxes are generated automatically.

        Dear Sir W
I tried to convert the PDF files into Word and it worked, but the size isn’t amways correctly converted. I keep you posted.

First of all thank you for your work! I really like your MicroHangars, Gearboxes and all the other stuff!

Although this reply may a bit late but you can print up to 8 portrait dividers on one DIN A4 page when you switch to landscape page format and reduce the border size in the document. This may depend a bit on the printer if it’s able to print close to the edges of the page.

Tried this, my printer didn’t make it. Therefore I thought it would be better to stay on the safe side. But you can always arrange as much dividers as you like on a single page on your own, even in Word.
