New section started!

Hi,

The new LotR TokenBox.

expect the unexpected. No X-Wing, Armada or IA this time, I started a new section instead. I’ve been building a few of my own ModularTokenBoxes for various games, and since I didn’t want them to be plain white, I added some artwork and figured, why not share them? Say hello to the new “Various Games” section, that consists of some games that won’t get that much stuff from me like my other supported games (at least for now). It’s still very much under construction, but you can already find some (old) stuff for Descent 2nd Edition (yes, dropped this one from the main menu), and a new TokenBox for the LotR LCG. I intend to fill the other gaps and add even more games in the future. A few more pictures can be found on my facebook page. Let me know what you think of this idea!

Armada Corellian Conflict SquadHangars.

It’s running quite smooth…

Got some helpful feedback concerning the new squadron cards from Corellian Conflict. Even though they don’t come with actual models, you convinced me that standard SquadHangars are the best option to offer. And since I was working on the SquadHangars just before I figured it wouldn’t be too much effort to add those, as well.

Head over to the Armada download section, there are two new files (didn’t want to increase the file size even further) for the Corellian Conflict SquadHangars!

Have fun and let me know if you encounter any problems or mistakes!

Armada Wave 5 SquadronHangars.

That was fast!

I needed a distraction and finished the new SquadronHangars! You won’t get an actual photo, I haven’t build any of them yet, because I don’t own the squads yet. Therefore be warned that none of them are actually tested, but I got word from other Armada fans that all new squads fit into the standard SquadHangar, besides the Lambda Shuttle. Therefore I’ve added an optional bigger version for this vessel, pick whichever you like better! If you use the smaller one you have to detach the ship from the base, of course.

As a little extra I’ve changed all hangar outlines, they now come with trapezoid shaped glue flaps.

Please let me know if there are any problems (more squadrons too big, mistakes, whatever).

EDIT: The SquadHangars for Corellian Conflict are not yet ready, I still haven’t figured out how to treat those, since they come without actual models, if I understood it correctly. Waiting for my shipment.

Armada Wave 5 MicroHangars.

Hey Armada fans,

Armada wave 5 MicroHangars.

thank you for being patient, the X-Wing wave 10 update was quite time consuming.

But rejoice, the MicroHangars for the two wave 5 ships are done and ready to download. Pretty straightforward (even though I needed about 4 or 5 prototypes because… reasons…), the Phoenix Home is supposed the be put into the hangar at a very slight angle. But depending on how accurate you cut and glue this might not even be necessary, it’s really not that much.

I had some problems with the name for the Phoenix Home hangar, because “Phoenix Home” is a title rather than a ship type. But this approach already resulted in two hangars featuring the same title (Home One and Liberty, both being MC80 Cruisers). And “Phoenix Home” looked way cooler than “Modified Pelta Class blablabla”. I asked your opinion on Facebook and in the end I decided to go with “Pelta Class, Phoenix Home”. Omitting the ship type completely just seemed wrong and would have meant to change the two MC80 hangar titles to “Home One” and “Liberty”, which I didn’t like. Instead I changed the two of them accordingly and they now read “MC80, Home One” and “MC80, Liberty”. This way everything is rather consistent, the boxes read the ship type, with the exception of Home One and Liberty (because both have the same type) and Phoenix Home (because it’s not an actual Pelta Class vessel, but a modified one). Hope you’re OK with this.

Oh, and the GearBoxes are ready, as well! And as stated in the last X-Wing update, the download titles and file names no longer feature the version number, you will only find them on the cover page from each PDF. I hope this minor inconvenience doesn’t bother you, since it allows me to update those files far more easy and faster.

I know, the squadrons are still missing, and I won’t tell you something like “Oh no, I can’t build them without actually having the squads in my hand!”, because in this case this isn’t true. The truth is, the process of making the SquadHangars is really time consuming and the main thing I remember from last time is how relieved I was when they were done… But I’ll see to it ASAP but please be patient again, some real life issues require my attention.

X-Wing wave 10. Finally.

X-wing Wave 10 MicroHangars.

Hi everybody,

sorry for the delay, lots of stuff on my plate. But I managed to finish a big bunch of new X-Wing stuff:

Everything can be found in the X-wing section, feel free to have a look!

The first new CollectorBox.

The instruction for building the new CollectorBox can be found in the “Generic Material” section, because it’s pretty much the same for all CollectorBoxes to come. The new “CollectorBox” section under “Generic” is still under construction, I intend to add blank versions of all boxes in the future. Also I will remove the old paper version, but not until the new foamboard enhanced version for Upgrade Cards is ready, as well.

You might notice that some files no longer show a version number on the download page and in the file name. That’s on purpose, because it allows me to simply replace old versions with newer version. You’ll find the version number on the cover page. Hope you don’t mind, this saves me about 30 minutes of really dumb point and click…

If you’re interested, I’ve started my facebook page recently, where I intend to keep you posted about my work on a more regular basis than here, simply because it’s easier. But of course every time I add something new, you will be informed here, as well!

Status report and thank you!

Hi there,

sorry, no new stuff yet, I just wanted to say thank you!

My donation goal has been reached, a big thank you to all my backers! I’d love to show you some photos of my new pen tablet, but just a few days before the goal was reached my desktop monitor gave in. That was a real bummer, since I don’t have enough money to spare at the moment, but then I realized that thanks to you I could actually afford a new one. Therefore I had to use a significant amount of the money to buy a new monitor, the rest was just enough to order the Imperial Raider, the last X-Wing epic ship I was missing. I don’t play epic, but now I can give it a try to build an EpicHangar for this beauty.

I won’t start collecting money for the pen tablet again (at least for now, bad karma…), but instead I decided to collect for a new desktop PC. My current one is rather old-fashioned, which I realized upon visiting the computer store looking for a new monitor and testing some state-of-the-art stuff. Gosh. My workflow would benefit even more from a new PC than from the pen tablet. Therefore I decided to add a new goal.

Concerning new boxes


I’m still waiting for my X-Wing and Armada shipment, but thanks to a buddy I will get my hands on wave 10 X-Wing ships tomorrow morning at the local backery. Expect new X-Wing hangars soon. The first new CollectorBox is nearly done, and here’s a preview of my first draft for the Tantive IV EpicHangar. Yes, it’s a bit messy. Actually, it’s the second one, the first one was done in my mind… Don’t know if it works out, but I’m confident.

Imperial Assault: New Class Cards tuckboxes

My dear IA fans,

A pile of new boxes.

I have to apologize for the long wait, but I’ve finally managed to add further boxes for the Hero Class Cards and the Imperial Class Cards. I’ve added boxes for everything released so far, including the boxes from Jabba’s Realm (the german version comes without the imperial class cards boxes for now, have to wait for the official translation).

I’ve updated the file to v3.0, even though you’ll find mostly v2.2 inside it, besides the new file for the class cards. Hope that’s OK. I’ve added an additional PDF containing only the Class Cards boxes, just in case you don’t want to download everything else again.

If you look closely, the artwork on the box has changed slightly, mainly because there was a bug in my master file that caused the three cards on the front and back to be replaced by too small versions, along with an annoying subtle white border. Changed that, even for the old boxes. Hope you’re OK with this.

X-Wing: The first EpicHangar is there!

Hi there!

The Rebel Transport EpicHangar.

After the recent announcement of the new scum epic ship and because of a bunch of requests I got in the last few days, I suddenly felt the need to finish my first EpicHangar. Say hello! It turned out quite good, I think, more infos and a new comprehensive step-by-step instructions slider can be found in the new EpicHangar section. Have fun and I’m eagerly awaiting your feedback. If you like the concept I see no reason why I shouldn’t give it a try to make something similar for the other epic ships.

And now, my dear Imperial Assault friends, I won’t publish anymore X-Wing or Armada stuff or anything else before finishing some new tuckboxes. Already started to work on them.

X-Wing: Heroes of the Resistance.

Hi there!

The X-Wing MicroHangars have been updated again with new hangars for the Heroes of the Resistance expansion. Both hangars are exact the same size than the corresponding older versions from wave 2 and the blue core game, I’ve just changed the artwork. And of course the ship symbol shows Poe’s alternate paint scheme, as introduced a few updates before.

The GearBox for both ships have been added, as well. I just can’t give you a nice photo of the boxes, simply because I didn’t have any time yet to actually build them (my X-Wing collection is in fact not half as neatly organized as you might expect, I simply can’t keep up with building all the boxes, storing away all the cards and tokens… it’s really a mess…).

Still waiting for my U-wing and TIE Striker, those are next on my X-Wing list. Hope to find some time now to turn my attention to Imperial Assault again.
